LIFESAVERS were called out after reports of a person in the water in the River Conwy.
Volunteers from Conwy Lifeboat were called just after 8pm on Sunday, August 16.
The casualty had managed to recover himself when the lifeboat arrived on scene.
A spokesperson for the lifeboat said: "The casualty was wearing a life jacket buoyancy aid which has most likely saved his life.
“We cannot stress enough, the importance of wearing such a buoyancy aid/lifejacket, when engaged in activities on or around the water."
