A CAR had to be recovered after becoming stuck on a toboggan course in Llandudno, having rolled down the hill where it was parked.
The Peugeot rolled down onto the course at the Llandudno Snowsports Centre on the Great Orme at around 3pm on August 3, whilst the driver was still in the car.
A spokesman for CLJ Recovery, who helped move the car along with members of North Wales Recovery and Rescue, said: "An elderly lady had got too close to the edge and panicked. She hit the brakes but also the throttle and went over the edge down the embankment and across the track.
"Nobody was hurt, except maybe the lady's pride".

The CLJ recovery spokesman said the vehicle was recovered by both firms by winching it forwards with A Land Rover defender and lifting it, before making a wooden bridge to guide it across the toboggan track to prevent any more damage.
He added: "The people with the vehicle got a taxi home and the main thing was preventing more damage to the track. Dragging it across would have been easy but would have made more damage so there was more sense in spending more time and being a bit more delicate with it.
"I'm a self employed recovery driver with a flat bed and I also do off-road recovery with my defender. But, in this incident I had help from North Wales recovery and rescue to help to assist and take the vehicle away as I can't drive two vehicles at the same time, so I did the off road part of the job".
