A WARNING has been issued to keep valuables secure after a number of thefts in the Deeside area.
Officers of the Eastern Community Safety team are urging residents to keep their valuables locked away as thieves are about.
An insecure bike was stolen from a garden in Shotton on September 17 at around 6pm to 7.30pm.
Elsewhere in Shotton clothes and food were stolen from an insecure shed overnight on September 11.
In Queensferry, thieves targeted an insecure vehicle on September 14 overnight and had stolen a coat.
A spokesman for the team said: "Beware thieves are about so very important to lock your valuables or risk losing them."
