ANGLESEY was showcased in all its beauty in the latest advert by Lloyds Bank during primetime national television.

The 60-second advert opens with fishermen on their boats in the atmospheric morning light of Amlwch Port before the bank's black horse passes a group of cold-water swimmers as they dive into Dinas Lake. A final scene shows a mother and son as they visit Newborough Forest while the boy learns to ride his bike.

It premiered on ITV1 on Saturday during Britain’s Got Talent as Lloyds aims to represent diverse regions across Britain.

Richard Warren, director of marketing for Lloyds Bank, said the Anglesey landscapes "breathe life into our advert".

“At a time where so many of us are striving to recover and find a new normal, our new advert aims to demonstrate that Lloyds Bank is by the side of a nation that never stands still," said Mr Warren.

"It is an ode to the people and businesses of Britain that are always moving forward and the impact it has could not be achieved without the stunning locations that provide the backdrop for the scenes.

“Anglesey had so much to offer that we chose it for three different filming locations featured within our latest advert. From the beautiful sunrise at Amlwch Port, to the light reflecting off the water at Dinas Lake, these landscapes breathe life into our advert and showcase the true beauty of Britain.”
