A SCHOOL has taken action after a confirmed case of coronavirus.
A parent informed the Pioneer that Ysgol Aberconwy had sent out an email which stated the Conwy based school were investigating a positive case of Covid-19 in year nine.
A spokesperson from Conwy County Borough Council said: "NHS Wales Test, Trace, Protect has been informed of one confirmed case of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) in Ysgol Aberconwy.
"The school is working closely with Public Health Wales, the Local Authority and the NHS Wales Test, Trace and Protect (TTP) to ensure that all the appropriate measures are in place to protect learners, staff and the wider community.
"Accordingly, we have contacted all students in year nine and informed them that they should self-isolate until they are informed they can return to school.
"Their learning will continue from home during that period."
