ONE lane has been closed on the A483 for 'emergency repairs' following a burst water pipe.

Lane one of two has been closed Northbound on the A483 from J5 Mold Road to J6 Gresford Interchange.

Reports show that traffic is 'coping well'.

A spokesman for Hafren Dyfrdwy said work is being carried out due to a burst water pipe.

They added: "We’re currently working to repair a burst water pipe on Gresford Roundabout, which is causing traffic to back up onto the A483.

"We have a tanker on the way to help pump away any water on the road, but we’re asking drivers to be mindful when driving in the area.

"No one’s water supply is affected, but we’re really sorry for any inconvenience and we’re working to get everything back to normal as quickly as possible."
