ST GRWST’s Church, Llanrwst has reopened for both worship and for visitors, after the completion of a major restoration programme.

The reopening was delayed six months because of the Covid 19 pandemic. Visitors from outside the county are currently unable to visit St Grwst’s because of the local restrictions.

But a novel solution has been found to enable visitors to look round the church online.

Working with Llanrwst based Mark360 Virtual Tours, a virtual tour has been filmed in the church and churchyard enabling people to see the wonderful restoration, imaginative reordering and flexible spaces inside St Grwst’s.

Rev Sarah Hildreth-Osborn from St Grwst’s Church said: “The new virtual tour is brilliant and shows off St Grwst’s Church and Gwydir Chapel to great effect.

"We are delighted with the work Mark has done.”

Mark Schorah of Mark360 Virtual Tours said: “As a new business, I wanted to find an iconic building to demonstrate my 360 degree photography and St Grwst’s fits the bill perfectly.”
