CREW members from Llandudno Junction McDonald’s restaurant have teamed up with local volunteers to pick litter.
The volunteers from ‘Get Top Park Buzzing’, a local Facebook community group, go out regularly to clean up the local area.
The team targeted specific areas of Llandudno Junction where local residents had reported issues, such as the footpath between Marl Drive to Glyn-Y-Marl Road. They collected an impressive 10 bags of litter, including lots of facemasks and gloves from around public transport stations.
McDonald’s franchisee Phil Lowndes, who owns and operates six local restaurants, said: “I’m really proud of my team for giving their time and efforts to do their bit for our fellow o residents. McDonald’s is committed to fighting litter in our local communities and we are really happy with the difference we made.”
