CORONAVIRUS cases right across the UK continue to rise as tougher measures are being introduced.

Wales is facing its second week of a fire-break lockdown which is expected to end on November 9.

Elsewhere, on Saturday evening, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that England will be entering a four-week national lockdown from November 5. However First Minister Mark Drakeford confirmed this will not affected Wales.

The UK death toll now stands at 58,925 where COVID-19 is on the death certificate as of November 2 and the total of positve cases is 1,034,914.
