ANT and Dec have paid a surprise visit to a Llandudno care home.
Residents at Queen Elizabeth Court, in Llandudno, were delighted when they visited this week. They had expected the television presenters, but instead they got to meet their equidae namesakes. Rescue donkey twins Ant and Dec were brought to the Home by Tom Tuoby of Allwood Donkeys. He rescued them 10 years ago and his daughters named them after their favourite TV presenters. Among the residents was 85 year old Christine Goody. She said: “They looked wonderful. Their visit really lifted everyone’s spirits. I had no idea Ant and Dec were so hairy in real life.” The Home’s Activities Coordinator, Gary Carr, said: “Many of our residents know Ant and Dec from I’m a Celebrity and thought it was hilarious when they were told t the donkeys’ names.”
