THE eastbound lanes of the A55 will close for four nights from Llandudno Junction to Colwyn Bay as improvement works are carried out.
Traffic Wales said the closure will be enforced between Junction 18 and Junction 20 as patching and streetlight changes are made from Tuesday, January 5 to Saturday, January 9.
The traffic measure will be in place from 8.30pm to 6am.
The work will be carried out over the 4 nights 20:30 – 06:00 under full eastbound carriageway closures between J18 Llandudno Jct. and J20 Brompton Avenue.
Traffic to be diverted off the A55 at Junction 18 and along Ffordd 6G and the A547 through Llandudno Junction and Mochdre before re-joining the A55 eastbound carriageway at Brompton Avenue.
“The work will be carried out over the four nights under full eastbound carriageway closures between J18 Llandudno Jct. and J20 Brompton Avenue,” a Traffic Wales spokesperson said.
“The works are being carried out overnight in January when traffic flows are historically lower to minimise disruption.”
