A THIEF fled from a car they had broken into after being spotted in Old Colwyn.
North Wales Police's Community Safety Central team tweeted that the incident took place on Bryn Coed Coch, near Colwyn Bay Football Club at about 10.15pm on Sunday.
"A car was broken into on Bryn Coed Coch in Old Colwyn," police tweeted. "The incident was around 2215 hours last night.
"The owner of the vehicle saw someone inside his vehicle, on seeing the owner the suspect fled.
"Please share with anyone you know who lives in the area."
