A LAUGHTER-filled parody of a classic novel will whisk audiences away from the dullness of lockdown this year.
Theatr Colwyn will screen 'Not: Lady Chatterley's Lover' makes a comic twist on D.H. Lawrence's acclaimed novel to bring high drama, high comedy and highly-raised eyebrows.
It sees Lady Chatterley welcome her husband, Clifford, home from a war that has left the world in tatters. With Clifford’s legs also in tatters, he is confined to a wheelchair and clutching a secret.
Despite her husband’s impotence, a subject that everyone struggles to avoid, Constance entertains the idea that one day they could have a child. However, as Clifford’s obsesses over industrial pursuits, Constance embarks on an experimental affair.
The show takes place on November 19. Tickets cost £18.50.
