MARKS and Spencer has confirmed that its high street store will move to Parc Llandudno.

Marks and Spencer Llandudno will move to a unit currently occupied by Denbenhams.

Sara Holt, M&S Regional Manager for North Wales, said: “We are pleased to confirm that we are moving our Llandudno store on Mostyn Street to Parc Llandudno, to the site currently occupied by Debenhams.

“The new store will offer customers an extensive food and clothing offer and a large M&S Café.

"The new and improved store is scheduled to open in 2022, and our existing site on Mostyn Street will remain open as usual until the development is complete."

Marks and Spencer has been located at 61 Mostyn Street for more than 80 years.

In 2019, the multinational retailer confirmed to the Pioneer it was looking to relocate.

At the time, a spokesperson from Marks and Spencer said all "existing staff" would make the move.

In 2018, Marks and Spencer closed its satellite store, also located in Mostyn Street, where it sold menswear and children's wear. These departments were moved into the main outlet.

This was the first stage of the relocation process.
