ROADS will be closed for up to a week to allow BT works to be carried out.

Conwy County Borough Council have given notice which will prohibit any vehicle to proceed along Deganwy Avenue Llandudno from the junction with Gloddaeth Street, to the junction with James Street and New Street Llandudno, and from the junction with Deganwy Avenue to the junction with Chapel Street.

The notice states: "The order is necessary to facilitate works by BT.

"The alternative route will be from the closure turn right onto Lloyd Street then take the third right onto Maelgwyn Road, head across the road and turn right onto Gloddaeth Street, follow up and turn right onto Deganwy Avenue and for New Street, take the next right after Deganwy Avenue and for New Street, take the next right after Deganwy Avenue onto Chapel Street and the first right onto New Street and it will be signed accordingly."

The order comes into effect on April 12 2021.

The road will be closed for a maximum of seven days.
