TRAFFIC cones have been placed along a popular beauty spot in Snowdonia amid concerns over parking chaos.
Traffic Wales has put the cones on the A5 at the Ogwen Valley ahead of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
There have been huge visitor numbers to the Snowdonia hotspot in recent years, where a shortage of car parks has prompted eager walkers to park on pavements and double yellow lines.
As 'stay local' restrictions were lifted to resume Wales-wide travel on Friday, March 26, tourists are beginning to flock to the popular location once again.
Traffic Wales North & Mid tweeted: "We've been busy today placing cones along the #A5 Ogwen ahead of Easter weekend.
"Please park, responsibly, safely and be considerate of others.
"Don't park on double yellows, block emergency vehicle access or obstruct footways."
