A FIRE near Abergele affected multiple scrap vehicles and a container filled with mixed waste, scrap tyres and general vehicle components.
The incident happened on Thursday, April 8 at Trofarth, Betws Yn Rhos.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the place was 'accidental' and caused by 'controlled burning out of control'.
The incident happened at just after 1.30pm.
It was out by 8.05pm.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Appliances in attendance include two crews from Colwyn Bay, two crews from Llandudno, one crew from Llanrwst, one from Rhyl and one environmental protection unit.
"Abergele and Llanfairfechan attended as relief crews."
During the blaze, residents were asked to shut their windows and doors.
