A WHISKY company have applied for a licence to sell alcohol between 9am until 7pm Monday to Sunday.
Penderyn were granted planning permission in August 2020 to restore and convert the former Old Board School building on Lloyd Street into a distillery and visitor centre.
The working distillery will produce a range of unique peated single malt whiskies on site.
The rear of the building will house the main entrance and the shop.
All work is being carried out under strict Covid lockdown rules.
The notice, featured in this week's Pioneer, states: "We the Welsh Whisky Company limited do hereby give notice that we have applied to the licensing authority (Conwy County Borough Council) for the grant of our premises licence at Penderyn Distillery Lloyd Street Llandudno."
Representations can be made in writing to the Head of Licensing Services, PO Box 1, Conwy, LL30 9GN.
