COVID has thwarted fundraising for much of the past year, but Llandudno Rotary Club members stepped into action to relieve the good people of Llandudno of some of their cash.

Despite glorious weather, reduced footfall, plus an increasing number of people not carrying coinage with them, led to a collection of £124.62 for Ty Gobaith Childrens’ Hospice.

In the light of previous years' experience, this was less than the eight Rotarians, thinly disguised as Easter Bunnies had hoped for, but they remained thankful to those people who gave so generously. Llandudno Rotary Club resolved to match the generosity of those who gave and raise the donation to £250

Beverley Bradley,Conwy Fundraiser for Ty Gobaith said: "Thank you for organising this collection. Our children and families need support more than ever and it is because of the support of our communities that we are able to keep providing vital care for those who need us."

The Club looks forward to a talk from Beverley on the important work that Ty Gobaith does, and Members look forward, post-COVID, to a visit to the Hospice, which nestles in the beautiful Conwy Valley.
