DRUGS were discovered in Colwyn Bay and Rhos on Sea after search warrants were executed.

After receiving information regarding the supply of class A drugs in the two communities, police executed eight search warrants and a number of items were seized, including class A and B drugs, cash, scales and other drugs related paraphernalia.

Sgt Adam Sergeant said: 'The problem of heroin and crack cocaine dealing, along with the misery it spreads, is a community problem that we need your help to solve, and I'd like to thank the public for their assistance on this occasion."

Anyone who has information regarding possible drug dealing is asked to contact CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111 or to telephone police on 101.

Sgt Sergeant added: "These investigations take time, however the more information we have, the faster we can act and put an end to this activity, which disrupts our community and puts our children and vulnerable people at risk."
