Chancellor Rishi Sunak tucked into a cone of chips during his visit to Rhyl.
Mr Sunak was in the town as part of the campaign trail ahead of the Senedd election tomorrow (Thursday, May 6). He was in the town lending his support to Gareth Davies, Conservative candidate for Vale of Clwyd.

During his visit on Wednesday morning, he was shown how to make his own chips during a visit to Marine Holiday Park in Rhyl.
The Journal was told: "It was a lovely atmosphere, he was really quite relaxed.

"He was talking to members of staff about how they had got through the pandemic.
"He was then show how to make his own chips.
"But he spent a good lot of time talking and chatting to staff."

On Tuesday, Labour party leader Sir Keir Starmer paid a visit to St Asaph and enjoy a tour around Qioptiq - Excelitas facility.
