A CLUBHOUSE was broken into and burgled overnight on Wednesday.
Penmaenmawr Phoenix Clubhouse, the clubhouse sports bar of the football team, said it was forced to close on Thursday following the incident.
“Due to a break in at the club last night the club will be closed until further notice,” said a post on the club’s Facebook page. “Sorry for any inconvenience.
“If anyone has any information regarding the matter please get in touch.”
In a post on Thursday, the club added: “For obvious reasons closing today wasn't planned after waking up to find we had been burgled! However in true Phoenix style we will do what we do best and rise again.
"Doors will be back open 4pm tomorrow! Hope to see you all then!”
