MOTORISTS have been thanked for their patience after emergency services attended a collision on the A55 in Conwy.
Traffic Wales announced at about 10.40am on Saturday that lane one Eastbound had been closed between junction 20 Rhos on Sea and junction 19 Glan Conwy.
Emergency services and traffic officers were sent to the scene.
Shortly before 11am, Traffic Wales stated: "We are currently batching traffic through Conwy Tunnel to assist with standing traffic and congestion travelling eastbound."
Then just after 12.20pm, the team announced the road was clear and all lanes had reopened, adding: "Thank you for your patience."
