RADIO star Sara Cox said has sampled the drinks and fish and chips of Anglesey and "loved every minute".
The Radio 2 presenter said she had taken a trip to Newborough beach and stopped at a number of establishments after she wanting to visit the island for some time.
"Thank you to The White Lion landlady for a delicious G&T yesterday while we waited for possibly the best fish & chips we’ve EVER had," Cox tweeted. "Seriously. The Codmother in Niwbwrch is a gem.
"Been to Anglesey at last and loved every minute."
Cox, who previously hosted the Radio 1 Breakfast slot, added that she went to the beach where she had "butties in the drizzle then the rain blew over"
"So beautiful and clean," she said. "Sorry to the lady we hit with the kite[,] she was very nice about it."

Another said: "I love the beach there."
A third added: "I used to go to Anglesey every year as a child on holiday and even now as I cross that bridge I feel a sense of calm and feel I'm home."
