PEOPLE are being urged to be careful when leaving unattended windows and doors open in the hot weather.
This follows a burglary in Llanelian Road, Old Colwyn, on July 20.
Whilst the family were in the back garden, an individual entered the property via at open window at the front of the house.
Anyone with information is asked to call North Wales Police on 101. Quote reference number: Z104 882
