We sell paddleboards and essentials/spares including carbon and fibreglass paddles, fins, electric pumps, leashes and buoyancy aids.
In our shop, you can stock up on the essentials for a day on the sea with items from wetsuits and sunscreen to changing-robes and towels.
Brands include Peak UK, JOBE, Gill, Aqua Marina, Shark, Yak, Tiki, SOLA, Northcore and local eco company Smoc Smoc.
What is your most memorable or proudest moment in business?
The appreciation and welcome of our customers. After a lengthy lockdown, and as we’re providing a service that hasn’t been available in the area, our customers have been really appreciative and so genuinely happy to be offered advice face-to-face, rather than buying online.
So many customers have said that we needed a shop like this in our area and have thanked us for opening. It’s really heartwarming.
We’re also so proud of how quickly we opened our Porth Eirias shop.
We were running as a small studio offering consultation and online sales in Rhos on Sea; we were offered an opportunity to open in Porth Eirias on the Tuesday evening, and had opened the shop on the Sunday morning, after getting the final go-ahead on the Friday night. Our tiny team are fantastic.
We are a friendly team and happy to help whether it be finding the right Stand up Paddleboard; or to offer customers advice on a buoyancy aid, or suitable SUP spots.
