THERE was a late night grass fire in Towyn.
This happened on Towyn Road on Thursday, August 26 at 7.51pm.
A spokesperson for North Wales Fire and Rescue service orginally gave details that the fire was in the open at a leisure park in Towyn.
The spokesperson has since said: "The fire was on Towyn Road
"It looks as though it was a grass fire and suspected as deliberate ignition.
"One appliance attended.
"The stop called 10.10pm."
The service's Arson Reduction Team - joint team with North Wales Police - was notified and arson reduction information boards were put up in the area.
