AN ADULT-only comedy event will raise money for St David's Hospice.

Following the success of Comedy at the Castle in 2019, the St David's Hospice comedy night will be 'going on the road' on Saturday, October 16.

Three comedians will travel to three locations in one night to deliver laughs and raise much needed funds.

'Comedy on the Road' event will take to the stage at Llandudno’s ProvSpace, Craig-Y-Don’s Community Centre and The Chapel in Conwy.

St David's Hospice Patron and BAFTA winning comedian Tudur Owen will be returning as well as Britain's Got talent Finalist 2020 Steve Royle.

Also on the bill is Steve Shanyaski who has been described by Steve Bennett, Editor of comedy website Chortle, as “Slick, Confident...Uproariously Funny”.

The evening will be hosted once again by Stand-Up by the seaside's, Dave Rothnie.

Rhian Jacobs, hospice events co-ordinator said: “After the year everyone has had, we thought there's nothing better than a night of comedy to get the people of North Wales laughing again.

“It's a fantastic line-up and we are really excited to welcome everyone to the stage.

"To add to the fun, instead of one big venue, this year our comedy night will take place simultaneously across three smaller venues and the acts will rotate venues over the night. Every show will be the same, just in a slightly different order! This is a night not to be missed."

Profits from the evening will go towards St David's Hospice’ work to support people with life-limiting illnesses and their families, and caring for those in need of end of life care.

With this being an adult only event, there will be a fully stocked bar at each venue.

Tickets are £18 each (doors open at 6:30pm) and seating will be allocated on the night of the event.
