A ONE-OFF celebration of the early music of Fleetwood Mac will be screened in Llandudno Junction.

Mick Fleetwood and a stellar cast of guest stars pay tribute to the music of founding member Peter Green, who passed last year.

The celebration was captured at The London Palladium in February last year and features a spectacular line-up of musical greats curated by Mick Fleetwood, including Noel Gallagher (Oasis), David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) and Kirk Hammett (Metallica), while the house band features Mick Fleetwood himself along with Andy Fairweather Low, Dave Bronze, and Ricky Peterson.

Tracks performed at the event include seminal Fleetwood Mac classics, such as ‘Albatross’, ‘Green Manalashi’ and ‘Need Your Love’.

Directed by award-winning concert director Martyn Atkins (Crossroads Festival and Cream at the Royal Albert Hall), the cinema event features an introduction by Mick Fleetwood, plus exclusive rehearsal footage, and interviews with guest artists.

Mick Fleetwood said: “I’m thrilled that our wonderful tribute concert to my friend and mentor, Peter Green is headed to the big screen. Fleetwood Mac fans will get the opportunity to see this amazing show as if they were sitting in the stalls that night.

“The generous spirit of love and admiration from all of our wonderful guests that night highlight the legacy of those early years of Fleetwood Mac songs. It’s immensely fulfilling to know that this show will live on forever – just like Peter’s amazing music.”

The screening takes place at Cineworld, Llandudno Junction on Sunday, September 12.

Tickets cost £15.50.
