A MAN has been charged to appear before Magistrates Court following a crash on the A55 near Mochdre this morning (Wednesday, September 8).
At 7.45am a crash occurred on the Westbound carriageway just before the Black Cat which involved a blue and red coloured Volkswagen Golf.
Nobody was injured following the collision, however the driver of the blue Golf was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken to police custody.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "He was later charged with drink driving, possession of Class B drugs and driving without due care and attention. The man, who is from the Sale area of Manchester, will appear before Llandudno Magistrates Court on September 22.
"Officers are appealing to anybody who may have been travelling along the A55 westbound and who may have dash cam footage, to contact them via the website or by calling 101 quoting reference number Z132879."
