AN 88-YEAR-OLD missing for nearly two weeks was last seen in Beddgelert.
James Berger, from Betws-yn-Rhos, near Abergele, was last seen getting off a bus in the tourist hotspot on Wednesday, September 8.
North Wales Police have appealed for information related to his whereabouts. The pensioner was wearing a maroon jumper and carrying a white carrier bag. He could have travelled from Beddgelert towards Aberglaslyn.
Police said: “We continue to be concerned for the whereabouts of 88-year-old James, who has been missing from the Betws-yn-Rhos area since Wednesday, September 8.
“James was last seen on foot heading out of Beddgelert.
“We are appealing for information from anyone who was in the Beddgelert area on the afternoon of Wednesday at around 2.30pm.
“We are also appealing to anyone travelling along the A498 from Beddgelert towards Aberglaslyn between 2.30pm-5.30 pm, who may have dashcam footage.
“He is believed to be wearing a maroon jumper and was carrying a white carrier bag.
“Did you see him along the road at this time or know of anyone who might have given him a lift?”
Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101 and quote the reference Z136242.
