A "DEDICATED" father-of-four who died in a crash has been named as Christopher Brierley.

Mr Brierley, 40, was from the Menai Bridge area. He died following a crash in Llangoed, Anglesey, on Saturday afternoon (September 25).

In a statement, the family of Mr Brierley said: " Sadly, Christopher passed away suddenly and untimely on Saturday. He was a dedicated father of four and a rally enthusiast and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. His partner and children are devastated by this loss and would appreciate privacy during this time.”

Officers continue to appeal to anybody who may have witnessed the single-vehicle crash, which involved a Mitsubishi Outlander, or to anybody who may have been travelling along the B5109 between Llangoed and Beaumaris shortly before 4.20pm on Saturday afternoon and who may have dash cam footage.

Sergeant Raymond Williams of the Roads Policing Unit said: “I offer my deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time.”

Anyone with information that could assist the ongoing investigation is asked to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit via the website or by calling 101.
