North Wales Police are looking into the alleged incident
POLICE are investigating a potential kidnapping.
NWP Denbighshire Coastal and Abergele posted on Facebook that they had been made aware of a post circulating on social media in which a woman reported she was a victim of an attempted kidnap in Dyserth over the weekend.
The post said: "Contrary to the content of that post, the incident was not reported to us at any time, but after being made aware of the social media post yesterday, officers have since traced and spoken to the female and are now investigating the incident.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101 or via the live webchat, quoting reference 21000689289."
