TWO main roads were shut in Llandudno after a man ‘sat on a roof’ for three hours.
North Wales Police cordoned off Madoc Street and Lloyd Street due to the incident at about 2pm on Thursday afternoon.
Welsh Ambulance Service and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews were also in attendance.
One eyewitness said: “There was a fella on top of the roof of the old catalogue shop; I don’t know why he was up there.
“Madoc Street and Lloyd Street were closed off and the place was full of police, ambulance and the fire brigade.
“He was talking to someone on the ground and sat reading the newspaper.”
The man is understood to have left the roof safely soon after 4.30pm.
Police said: "We would like to thank local businesses and the community around the Madoc Street, Llandudno area for their patience and cooperation today following an incident that took place there."
