TWO people were hurt in a collision on the A55 near St Asaph earlier today.
The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway near the junction for St Asaph Business Park at about 12.30pm.
Traffic queued back several miles towards St George near Abergele but the eastbound carriageway was re-opened about 45 minutes later at 1.15pm.
The Welsh Ambulance Service sent two ambulances to the scene.
At noon, Traffic Wales issued an alert warning that animals were on the westbound carriageway at Junction 26 for St Asaph Business Park.

In an update, Traffic Wales said the eastbound carriageway had to be closed.
They said there was congestion on the carriageway due to the incident.
They said: "Officers en route. Take care when passing."
The road was open again at 1.15pm.
