LLANDUDNO continued their impressive run of form in a convincing 3-0 win over Buckley at Maesdu Park.

The Seasiders have now won eight on the bounce in the JD Cymru North League as they move to third place and four points off leaders Broughton.

The home side were comfortable for much of the game, showing high intensity, creating plenty of chances and giving the visitors a rare sight of goal.

Manager Sean Eardley said he felt his players eased off in the second half to give Buckley "wind in their sail", but the Llandudno goalkeeper remained untested until the final minutes of the game.

"Considering the two week break we've had from competitive action, that's a great win," Eardley said. "Buckley, as we thought, would be aggressive from the start, but we addressed it in our pre-match talk, that we had to match it and maybe rise above it.

"I felt some of our football in the first half was decent, we got into good positions, good areas, and we really worked their keeper.

"It's another win to the current run. More importantly it's 90 minutes under the belt for the boys and we can roll into Friday full of confidence."
