CONWY Borough's pursuit of fifth place were left shot as they conceded six against Ruthin Town.
Josh Jones and Matthew Hill both hit braces for hosts Ruthin as they secured a 6-1 victory over the Tangerines.
Cory Williams had drawn the away side level soon after Jamie Cummings' strike, but they fell behind again as Jones scored just before half time.
Four goals then followed in the second half as Ruthin moved three points clear of their opponents in JD Cymru North League table with a game in hand.
