ST DAVID’S College in Llandudno enjoyed the return of its Christmas carol service yesterday (December 8) at St Paul’s Church, Craig-y-Don.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020’s event was moved online, but the school returned to its usual venue this year despite mandatory face masks and parents being asked to not attend, and was the first major musical event from the new head of music, Hannah Cox.

It was also the first carol service from new chaplain, Edward Gray, who said: "Being together as a school for the first time in so long was very special indeed.

“The music, the smiles, the singing, and the Christmas theme all came together perfectly and it’s down to the combined will and spirit so unique to St David’s that made it happen."

The whole event was recorded by outstanding Nick Cogger and the BTEC production arts team, which will soon be made available to any parents or family members to view at their leisure.
