A BUNNY that has been in care for 15 months continues to look for a new home.

Sophie has been living at RSPCA Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre in Colwyn Bay.

A special appeal has now been made in the hope that the indoor rabbit can find a home for Christmas.

A spokesperson for RSPCA Animal Centre - Bryn-y-Maen said: "Having had a tough start to life and having very limited interest, although she has been in our care for 467 days, this gorgeous girl is really hoping that her 'furever home' is just around the corner.

"Sophie is a very sweet natured girl who can be a little unsure of new people at first but given some time and patience she quickly builds her confidence.

"She really enjoys having time spent with her especially if some tasty greens are involved.

"Sophie would benefit from living as an indoor rabbit where she will be given all the tender, loving care she truly deserves.

"Sophie enjoys the company of other rabbits so she is looking for a home where she can be introduced to a neutered male rabbit. She would be able to live with primary school age children of eight plus."
