A MAN has been arrested after a robbery took place in two Denbighshire towns.
North Wales Police say the incidents took place in Denbigh and Ruthin during the evening of Saturday, January 8.
The Premier store on Rhyl Road and the McColl's shop on Denbigh Road in Ruthin were both targeted between the hours of 9.15pm and 10pm.
A man has been arrested in connection to the incidents.
A statement from NWP read: "North Wales Police, Central CID are investigating two reports of robbery that took place during the evening of Saturday 8th January 2022 at Premier Store, Denbigh and McColls, Denbigh Road, Ruthin between approximately 21:15 and 22:00.
"One male has been arrested in relation to these offences and is currently in Police Custody.
"North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to this offence, specifically a male witness from the Ruthin store who has provided a vehicle registration to staff at the location.
"Please contact North Wales Police via 101 quoting crime reference 22000018609."
