OVER 650 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded for North Wales in the latest figures published by Public Health Wales (PHW).
Statistics released by PHW on Thursday, January 13, show that a total of 3,197 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded throughout the whole of Wales.
652 of those are in North Wales and this can be broken down county-by-county to:
Anglesey - 57
Conwy - 108
Denbighshire - 95
Flintshire - 127
Gwynedd - 67
Wrexham - 198
Sadly, a further 11 deaths have also been confirmed in the latest round of figures. This means that a total of 6,679 deaths suspected to be linked to Covid-19 have been reported in Wales since figures first began in early 2020.
The figures also show that 1,758,311 people in Wales have now received their Covid-19 booster jabs.
They also reveal that 2,499,123 people have received at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
