Over 2,000 new cases of covid-19 have been reported in Wales according to the latest statistics.
A total of 2,133 new cases of covid-19 have been recorded in the latest round of statistics released by Public Health Wales (PHW) on January 16.
417 of these cases were reported in North Wales, which can be broken down county-by-county to:
Wrexham - 111
Conwy - 89
Flintshire - 66
Denbighshire - 59
Gwynedd - 47
Anglesey - 45
Sadly, a further six deaths have been recorded across Wales following a positive covid-19 test.
It was also reported that 1,765,080 people have now had their booster jab.
