THE Wales Spring Fair in Llandudno will now celebrate its 42nd year between Sunday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 5 after being rescheduled due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

The country’s premier home and gift trade show was due to take place in Llandudno across three days in late January.

The news marks a further delay in the event being held, having been cancelled in 2021 due to the pandemic and the repurposing of Venue Cymru as a vaccination centre.

Wales Spring Fair event manager, Adrian La Trobe, said: “In 2020, buyers visiting the Wales Spring Fair could see and touch more than 15,000 different potential products, and what better way is there to select new stock?

“We are really looking forward to the 2022 show.”

The event has been successful since its inception, providing an invaluable opportunity for buyers and decision makers from more than 500 tourism hubs, independent and multiple retailers, hotels, galleries, garden centres and many more, to stock up on the latest must-have items.

Regular exhibitor Ffred Ffransis, from Cadwyn, added: “The Wales Spring Fair is the one show that the craft and gift shop owners of the north attend.

“We’ve been exhibiting here for over 25 years and every single year has been a success in terms of introducing new items and gaining new customers.”
