COVID infection rates in North Wales are falling, the latest data has revealed.
Public Health Wales figures released on Wednesday (January 26) show that there were 317 confirmed new cases in the region in the latest 24-hour period.
Daily case numbers in North Wales were up at over 2,000 just weeks ago.
A full breakdown of new North Wales cases is as follows:
Anglesey - 23
Conwy - 45
Denbighshire - 54
Flintshire - 95
Gwynedd - 17
Wrexham - 83
As of January 16, number of people being treated for Covid-19 in North Wales hospitals (349) remained at its highest point since the start of the pandemic.
The number makes up roughly 14 per cent of all inpatients in North Wales hospitals.
Sadly, a further four people who had tested Covid positive in the last 28 days died in Wales in the latest 24-hour period.
This takes Wales' total number of suspected Covid-related deaths since the start of the pandemic to 6,788.
