When the new M&S Llandudno store will be open

The store will be located at Parc Llandudno, Conway Rd, LL30 1PX, and will be open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm, and from 11am to 5pm on Sunday (browse time from 10.30am).

M&S, who say this is the first Welsh store of its kind, said in a statement: “Located in the much-loved Parc Llandudno Retail Park, the store is perfectly placed to welcome the whole family.

“Whether it’s a quick trip to the Foodhall to get a picnic for a day on North Shore Beach, a ‘yikes, it’s Mother’s Day tomorrow!’ panic to the pyjama section, or an escape to the hill-side café to tuck into a delicious slice of cake, the Llandudno store will enhance the local community’s shopping experience.”

In true Welsh style, the Maelgwn Male Voice Choir and San Sior School Choir will perform at the store opening, raising the roof with their harmonies.

The town’s Miss Alice and the Wonderland will also be at the store, a nod to the town’s history as the place of inspiration for the well-known tale, while a harpist from Ysgol Creuddyn will also be playing at the launch.

It will be led by store manager, Katie Whelan, along with all 114 staff who have transferred from the previous M&S Llandudno site, while 46 new jobs have been created through the move.

In 2018, the retailer M&S its satellite store , also located in Mostyn Street, where it sold menswear and childrenswear, moving these departments into its main outlet.

It is understood M&S had to secure a change in the planning covenant at the Parc Llandudno unit so that it could sell the amount of food it wanted.
