EASTER Sunday (April 17) sees a new venture by the Llandudno Rotary group, as members “storm the Orme” for charity.

“Storm the Orme” is an organised non-competitive stroll at The Great Orme that offers the chance of joining good company and raising money for two worthy causes.

The venture is a fundraising event for St David’s Hospice, Llandudno, which offers free palliative care to adult patients across North West Wales, and Ilitha pre-school in Cape Town, South Africa.

Those wishing to take part must donate £5 per person as an entrance fee, with a maximum of £10 per family for the four-mile walk.

Walkers can start between 10am and 12pm from West Shore, near the boating pond.

The latest finish for signed-off event completion is 3.30pm on Marine Drive, near the Llandudno Pier.

Full details and how to register are online at: www.rotary-ribi.org/clubs/page.php?PgID=846486&ClubID=1111.
