'SEVERAL vehicles' had to be removed from a Gwynedd beauty spot due to having parked dangerously over Easter weekend, police have revealed.
Snowdonia's Ogwen Valley has become infamous over the years for its parking issues during the holiday season.
There have been huge visitor numbers to the hotspot in recent years, where a shortage of car parks has often prompted eager walkers to park on pavements and double yellow lines.

Easter Weekend proved to be no different as officers had to remove 'several vehicles' from the area.
Parked cars were towed away as authorities clamped down on "inconsiderate" parking in the area.
North Wales Police warned motorists on Saturday morning that numerous vehicles had parked "dangerously and inconsiderately" causing traffic issues in the Nant Francon area, particularly by Ogwen Lake.

North Wales Police have since issued the following statement on the incidents: "Several vehicles have been removed over the Easter weekend by NWP Road Policing Unit for parking dangerously in the Ogwen Valley.
"Please take care if driving along this road over the coming months and if you see any cars parking in this manner please call NWP to report this."
