FAMOUS WELSH comedian Rob Brydon visited The Toad pub on Colwyn Bay’s West Promenade yesterday (April 29).
Best known for his starring role as Bryn in the series Gavin & Stacey and presenting the BBC comedy panel show Would I Lie To You?, the stand-up comedian went along for pint and a meal as he checked out the sites in North Wales.
Brydon was in North Wales as part of his A Night of Songs and Laughter tour, having performed at Rhyl’s Pavilion Theatre on Wednesday, 27 April and Thursday, 28 April.

A spokesperson for The Toad said: “Had the pleasure of cooking for Rob Brydon this afternoon!
“Absolute top guy.
“See you at the toad for the next series of The Trip.”
The Toad’s manager added: “We had a good chat with him - he was a true gentleman!”
