A MAN who was found guilty of possession of a Class A drug and of drunk and disorderly behaviour in Conwy is to pay more than £200.
Alex Walkden, 23, of Simkin Way, Oldham, was accused of possessing a quantity of cocaine at Mostyn Broadway, Llandudno on April 16.
Mr Walkden was also accused of drunk and disorderly on the same date and at the same location.
He was found guilty of both offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on May 6.

For the former offence, he was fined £120, and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £34 victim surcharge, to be paid in weekly instalments of £6 commencing June 2.
This made a total payment of £239.
The court also ordered the cocaine to be forfeited and destroyed, while an application was made for deductions from Mr Walkden’s benefits.
No separate penalty was issued for the latter offence.
