ABERCONWY MS Janet Finch-Saunders visited the site to discuss the future of the historic building.
Aberconwy House is situated on Castle Street, Conwy and is a medieval merchant's house and one of the oldest dateable houses in Wales.
Constructed in the 14th century it is, along with Plas Mawr, one of the two surviving merchant's houses within the town.
Commenting after her visit, Mrs Finch-Saunders said: “Aberconwy House is an important local asset and is an iconic part of the Conwy skyline.

“This property dates back to the 14th century and is the only merchant house in Conwy to have survived the town’s turbulent history.
“Given this I am pleased to see that the National Trust are activity looking to engage with the community, partners, and stakeholders to locate a tenant that will make proper use of this space whilst also maintaining and preserving the building for future generations.
“I would like to thank the National Trust team at this location for their continued hard work and dedication to this facility and to Conwy.”
